What your child learns

This class is for students ready to take their Spanish to the next level as they incorporate core curriculum topics like literacy, science, math and music for a stronger Spanish foundation. The subjects your child already meets at school stop being separate from Spanish and become the way they talk about everything else.

Sing, move, dance, draw and discover

Follow an exciting monthly theme to go deeper into one part of the language

Play charades, search-and-find, Pictionary, Simon Says and more

Use lots of movement to connect meaning to motion, which is what makes it stick

Have a weekly sharing time: bring something from home and learn how to say it in Spanish

Build real-life language skills by practicing common sentence frames rather than memorizing word lists

Repetition, repetition, repetition

Themes we cover in the year

Questions parents ask about this stage

Can siblings learn together?

Yes! Siblings join free when they can learn together in the same session. As a general guideline, siblings should be within about 2–3 years of each other and at reasonably similar Spanish levels. Only one learner needs to be booked. Read the siblings policy.

Do parents need to speak Spanish?

Not at all. No prior Spanish knowledge is required. We provide guidance and reinforcement materials so families can support learning at home.

What do I need for class?

Just a device with Zoom, a quiet learning space, and a willingness to have fun! We also send printable worksheets weekly so your child can practice their Spanish skills between online classes.
