Private Spanish tutoring, built around your family.

Private Spanish lessons give your learner personalized instruction while following the same engaging Spanish With Littles curriculum and language-learning approach used throughout our program. Each 30-minute private session is $35 and is customized around your learner’s age, Spanish level, goals, pace, and interests.

New to Spanish With Littles? Start here!

We recommend that new families begin with our Starter Class before scheduling ongoing private lessons.

After your Starter Class, you can begin building the private lesson schedule that works best for your family.

During your Starter Class, your family will:

  • Meet one of our Spanish With Littles teachers
  • Experience a short, interactive Spanish lesson
  • Talk through your learner’s goals and previous Spanish experience
  • Receive a curriculum placement recommendation
  • Learn about our teaching approach
  • Get oriented to your learner’s Class Hub and resources
  • Leave knowing exactly what we recommend as your next step

Our Starter Class is designed to feel like a real SWL lesson, not a test.

We use visuals, gestures, modeling, interaction, and encouragement to help learners feel comfortable and successful while giving the teacher a clear picture of where to begin.

A great fit for learners ages 3–13 who are:

  • Brand new to Spanish or building confidence anywhere in their bilingual journey!
  • Already familiar with some Spanish but unsure of their level
  • Transitioning into private tutoring
  • Looking for a personalized recommendation before booking ongoing classes

Private classes for every kind of family

Total beginners to Spanish

Brand new to Spanish? Lessons begin with first words, taught through visuals, gestures, modeling, and play.

Heritage families

Families raising bilingual kids who want focused, one-to-one conversation practice with a bilingual teacher, so Spanish from home keeps growing.

Siblings ready to learn together

Siblings join free when they can learn together in the same session. See how it works.

Private groups

Homeschool co-ops, pre-K groups and other private groups can be set up on request. Email us to set one up.

Every session also comes with practice materials for home, especially helpful as Spanish help for homeschool students who want structured language support.

We honor the quiet phase.

At Spanish With Littles, our goal is to help children understand and use Spanish naturally, not simply memorize translations and vocabulary lists. Our lessons are:

  • Energetic and engaging
  • Immersive, with thoughtful scaffolding and support
  • Highly visual and interactive
  • Built around movement, gestures, modeling, and meaningful context
  • Designed to help children connect Spanish directly with meaning
  • Low-pressure and encouraging, honoring the natural language acquisition process

Learners are encouraged to participate, but they are never forced to speak before they are ready.

What to expect in private tutoring

Every learner’s private lessons are customized around their current Spanish ability, goals, developmental level, pace, and interests.

Your learner’s Class Hub

Your learner will also receive a personalized Class Hub, which becomes your home base for curriculum placement, goals, learning resources, class notes, and communication with your teacher.

Sessions may include:

  • Personalized curriculum placement and progression
  • Conversation and speaking practice
  • Listening and comprehension
  • Age-appropriate reading
  • Writing practice when appropriate
  • Interactive games and review
  • Visuals, props, gestures, and real-life examples
  • Before- and after-class learning resources
  • Ongoing feedback from your teacher

Private classes that fit YOUR schedule

With our appointment-based booking system, your family can build a Spanish schedule that actually works for you. There is no requirement to attend only once per week.

Want consistency? Reserve a weekly spot.

Reserve the same teacher, day, and time each week and we’ll keep that recurring spot on your learner’s schedule.

Need flexibility? Book as you go.

Book available class times throughout the month instead. You’re not required to attend on the same day or with the same schedule each week, and you can book with different available teachers when needed.

You can also combine both options: keep one regular weekly class while adding additional lessons whenever you’d like.

Either way, private classes are $35 per 30-minute class, and the classes you book are charged together at the end of your monthly billing cycle, rather than as a separate purchase each time you book.

Siblings join FREE!

Only one learner needs to be booked for your private session. Siblings are welcome to participate in the same lesson together at no additional charge.

If a sibling will regularly be joining, please include their name and age in your intake information so your teacher knows who to expect and can plan appropriately.

When siblings learn together

  • Siblings join free when they can learn together in the same session.
  • As a general guideline, siblings should be within about 2–3 years of each other and at reasonably similar Spanish levels.
  • Wider age gaps can still work, particularly with beginners, but should be approved based on the learners.
  • The class is taught as one shared lesson, rather than separate individualized lessons for each sibling.
  • If the children’s ages, Spanish levels, or learning needs are different enough that they require separate instruction, they should have separate private bookings.
  • Use the Free Starter Class to determine whether siblings are a good fit for learning together.

Questions parents ask before booking

What if my child is shy or doesn't speak right away?

That's completely normal. We honor the quiet phase of language learning and gently encourage participation at each child's pace. Confidence grows naturally with consistency.

Will my child get the same Spanish teacher every time?

They can! Choose the recurring appointment option when you book to keep the same teacher, day, and time each week. You can also book with different available teachers when needed.

What happens if we need to cancel?

Appointments may be canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled class without being charged for that session. Classes missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full session rate.

How do I set up my account?

Create your account under the parent or guardian, add each child as a learner, and select the learner (not the parent) when you book. See the four steps.

More questions? See the full FAQ, or write to support@spanishwithlittles.com and a real person on our team will answer. For detailed help with your account, classes, policies, and resources, visit our Parent Resource Guide.

Setting up your account

For the smoothest booking experience:

  1. Create your account under the parent or guardian

Your main WellnessLiving account should use the parent or guardian’s information.

  2. Add your child as a learner

Add each child as a learner/profile underneath your parent account. This helps us keep scheduling, student information, communication, and learning resources organized correctly.

  3. Select the learner when booking

When scheduling an appointment, use the profile selector to choose the child who will be attending class, rather than the parent profile. This lets your teacher know exactly which learner to expect.

  4. Choose how you’d like to schedule

You can book a single appointment, multiple individual appointments, or a recurring weekly appointment. You can always add more appointments later using your existing Private Tutoring membership.

Already have a Private Tutoring membership?

Do not purchase another membership when adding more classes.

When booking an additional appointment, select Options You Own → Private Tutoring. This applies the new appointment to the membership you already have, whether you’re booking one additional class, several classes during the month, a recurring weekly appointment, or a combination of recurring and flexible appointments.
